How is the famous Gurhi Jalebi made?

The process of making Gurhi Jalebi is quite simple which is made by soaking the flour. It is said that the flour is soaked for two to three days, after which it is rubbed with hands to make it very sticky and then it is placed in a thick cloth and a small hole is made at the bottom. Jalebi is strained in hot oil, after which Guna Paag is made, after which the strained Jalebi is soaked in oil. After keeping it for some time, Jalebi is completely ready, after seeing which the mouth starts watering.

Chinese Jalebi is also very famous. Chinese and Gurhi Jalebi are similar in appearance but both have different color and taste. The texture is similar. In Baikunthpur, most of the people eat Gurhi Jalebi while some people eat Chinese Jalebi.
